Tech Firms Dominate ‘Indiana Companies to Watch’
Nine of the 14 companies honored last night by the state of Indiana as ‘Companies to Watch’ are tech firms innovating in growing Hoosier industries, including advanced manufacturing, life sciences, logistics and tech.
The companies come from across the state representing Elkhart, Hamilton, Marion, Monroe, Posey, Steuben, St. Joseph, Vigo and Whitley counties.
“Today, more Hoosiers are working now than ever before in our state’s 200-year history,” said Governor Mike Pence. “That is a testament to Indiana’s innovators and entrepreneurs like those being honored today who are developing advanced technologies and solving new challenges while creating even more quality jobs for Hoosiers. The state’s initiative to invest $1 billion in Hoosier innovation and entrepreneurship over the next 10 years will build on the incredible momentum of these job creators by dedicating more support and resources to ensure that innovators can launch an idea, grow a business and create jobs in Indiana for years to come.”

Indiana Companies to Watch awardees must be based in Indiana, privately held, have advanced beyond the startup phase, employ six to 150 full-time employees including the owner and have between $150,000 and $100 million in annual revenue or capital from investors or grants. These firms were selected by a panel of judges convened by the state of Indiana, the IEDC and the Edward Lowe Foundation.
